About Us
The Sneezesafe® Program has been running in Australian schools since 2011. Developed by Australian teachers for Australian Schools with the support of Kleenex® Tissues: Sneezesafe® builds on the Australian Curriculum learning Standards for Health and wellbeing. This program also supports Australian Government guidelines relating to control of viruses.
Program Aims:
Alert!
Highlight the importance of correct hygiene and tissue use to help prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria.
Teach!
Provide free engaging, and relevant online learning resources which support Australian education curriculum standards for health and wellbeing.
Encourage!
Encourage children to understand and use the 1-2-3 Process, in line with Australian Department of Health guidelines for respiratory and hand hygiene.
Act!
Reinforce classroom learning at home, with information for parents to encourage good respiratory hygiene in the home.
